Hi,
I was wondering if there were any Plataplochilus circulating in the DKG. I read an article about them in the British Killifish Association journal but I don't think there are any still around.
Thanks for any information.
Graham
Any Plataplochilus in the DKG
Re: Any Plataplochilus in the DKG
Hello Graham,
Plataplochilus are not the most famous killi fish in the DKG. But some people are keeping several species. Since some maonths I'm keeping P. miltotaenia "GEM 2006". But by now they haven't bred successfully. I think they are to young by now.
Please have a look on this page: http://dkg.killi.org/dkg_leuchtaugen.php
Bye Martin

Hi Martin,
Thanks for your reply.
I've heard that they are quite difficult and slow to breed, the best results being obtained with a permanent setup where the fry grow with the adults.
I'd be interested in eggs when/if anyone gets any!
Many thanks,
Graham
