In continuation of a long tradition, and above all because of the enjoyably active participition in the previous year, the annual photo contest of the DKG will take place during the 2023 Convention.

Not only DKG members are invited to participate, but of course also killifish photographers from abroad

The three best photographs of each category will win adwards, the winner of the categories “Portrait” and “Action” will as usual decorate the title pages of the coming issues of the DKG-Journal.

The trophy money in all three categories is 40 Euro for the 1st Place, 30 Euro for the 2nd Place, and 20 Euro for the 3rd Place.

By sending in their photographs, the authors agree that these are stored in the photo archive of the DKG and accept a future use of this material for the DKG-Journal and other purposes inside the DKG as well as our sister associations. The DKG is interested in sharing its photographic material in order to foster international cooperation inside our hobby.

A technical hint: Please do not send files with too low resolution! Although compression reduce storage space and facilitates shipment as a e-mail attachments, photographic quality that once has been lost can not be restored, no matter what sophisticated software is used.

Your active participation in the form of numerous photographs would make me very happy and beyond this we all would benefit from your contribution!
